Women’s Development Programme – A Catalyst for Empowerment
For five years now, our Women’s Development Programme has been a cornerstone in fostering career growth and self-awareness. This year, by integrating tools like Strengthscope and offering targeted strategies to overcome imposter experience, the programme not only builds strong personal brands but also nurtures a supportive community through mentorship and collaboration.
Watch our video highlight captured from this year’s programme, which was facilitated by Emma Lucas at Think Coaching, and join us in celebrating progress, embracing diversity, and creating a workplace where every woman can thrive!
Empowering Women Through Inclusive Initiatives:
Menopause Policy: We recognise that menopause can significantly impact the workplace. Our policy encourages open conversations between managers and colleagues, ensuring everyone affected receives the support and guidance they need.
Menopause Champion Group: Launched in 2023, this group brings together colleagues from various divisions and locations. Our champions provide one-on-one support and a safe space to discuss both physical and emotional challenges, backed by mental health training to offer comprehensive care.
Maternity Policy: We understand that parenthood and returning to work can present challenges for many and last year we introduced enhanced parental leave. Our policy offers additional security and support to colleagues who go on maternity – and paternity – leave and this also includes adoption leave. We will continue to focus on adapting and evolving our policies to ensure they meet the needs of our ever-changing employee population, particularly when it comes to fertility and women’s needs in the workplace.
Member of WiHTL & Diversity in Retail
We are excited to join WiHTL and their unique Collaboration Community dedicated to driving DE&I across hospitality, travel, and leisure. We look forward to this partnership supporting our ongoing efforts to create welcoming spaces where everyone feels valued and empowered to contribute. Together, we are committed to shaping a more inclusive and successful future for our industry.
International Women’s Day 2025

Celebrating International Women’s Day was a powerful reminder of our commitment to creating a workplace where everyone felt welcome, valued, and knew that they truly belonged. This shone through each initiative we undertook.
During the week of celebrations, we kicked off with a Women-Only ‘Power Hour of Connection’ at our Head Office. This in-person gathering provided a vibrant space for candid conversations, mutual support, and shared experiences among the incredible women in our business. The energy and enthusiasm from our passionate hosts and participants truly exemplified the spirit of authentic connection and growth.
Then, on Thursday 6th March, we hosted our first-ever Virtual Panel featuring seven remarkable colleagues from across our UK locations. During this one-hour discussion, they shared personal stories, career journeys, and valuable insights on overcoming challenges and seizing opportunities. Their diverse perspectives reinforced that when we embrace our differences, we all move forward together.
To cap off our IWD celebrations, our bi-weekly company newsletter delivered a full International Women’s Day takeover. It featured an inspiring podcast episode with two of our female board members discussing leadership and the drive for gender equity, along with personal stories from our female employees and a thoughtful piece on menopause awareness and support.
At Center Parcs, we recognised that celebrating International Women’s Day was not just about acknowledging achievements, but about driving real, actionable change.
Share your experience, tips and advice with other job seekers on how they can land their dream job. The best contributions will get published!
