The MOD Race Network (MRN) is one of Defence’s largest staff networks and exists to support our senior leaders with making decisions to improve the lived experience of ethnic minorities in Defence.
The MOD Race Network supports Defence to deliver and implement a workable strategy that helps improve the race experience and build an inclusive culture.
Our vision
To create a race aware Defence, in which ethnic minorities are empowered to thrive whilst contributing to the Defence purpose.
Our mission is
To act as a critical friend that challenges MOD to achieve equitable outcomes for its ethnic minority workforce and provide them with a supportive working environment in which their voices are heard, their experiences are respected, and their performance is valued.
