The Army Champions National Inclusion Week 2025

Diversity & Inclusion

National Inclusion Week 2025 will take place from the 15th of September – 21st September. This year's theme ‘Now is the Time’ serves as a rallying cry to protect the progress made and to accelerate efforts towards meaningful and lasting change emphasizing the importance of inclusion, urgency, resilience, and the need to push forward – focusing on practical steps that make inclusion sustainable and embedded within our organisations.

The theme is influenced by recent backlash against inclusion and diversity coupled with economic instability and tightening budgets – meaning those in inclusion and diversity roles must innovate to maximise impact.

National Inclusion Week 2025

National Inclusion Week offers a platform to showcase The Army’s commitment to creating an inclusive environment, using this week to highlight ongoing efforts to ensure equality of opportunity, challenge discrimination, and celebrate the contributions of underrepresented groups. Across Defence many events are being held to mark the week, including talks on Living with Autism and celebrating the vast number of Staff networks the Army has to offer helping connect people across backgrounds, offer safe spaces to share experiences, and help shape positive change.
