Employee Networks at Grosvenor
Diversity and inclusion are embedded at every level within Grosvenor, and actively championed by our employees. We are delighted to have four employee-led Networks focusing on Racial Equality, Pride, Disability and Understanding Faith, who regularly host events and share resources to improve our understanding of each other and encourage inclusive behaviour. Recently, this has included blog posts on fasting, employee training on Disability Awareness, a transgender visibility panel discussion and an interview with Luther Blisset on his experiences of racism during his football career.
We welcomed a panel of property professionals to our UK property business' Race Equality Network panel event, discussing diversity and inclusion across the industry.
Clarence E. Dixon, CBRE, Wei-Ting Leong, Grosvenor Diversified Property Investments, Faith Locken, We Rise In, and Ushna Mughal, Knight Dragon, shared their lived experiences. They opened up the conversation about diversity and inclusion across the sector, and how the power of sponsorship and advocacy can make company culture more inclusive.
One way we can all help make the property sector more diverse is by sharing our expertise outside of the industry, such as in schools or through charities that support young people from under-represented communities to pursue careers in the industry.
