The BBC are opening up six of their entry level schemes in the following programmes:
Broadcast Operator – Suitable for people that want to be at the heart of the action – Camera operators, working on live broadcasts ‘vision mixing’, or with radio – Making sure the sound is just right.
Broadcast Engineers – This is a degree scheme where you’ll finish with a B’Eng – Broadcast Engineers set up the equipment, fix and build – More working behind the scenes on technical problem solving.
Software Engineers – This is a degree scheme and our software engineers are responsible for online content – iplayer etc – Great for people that are into their coding etc. A graduate scheme is also open for applications.
Cyber Security – Another great one for people that love computers – Protecting the BBC from hackers etc. A placement scheme and a graduate scheme is available.
Research and Development – The BBC have a graduate scheme and a placement scheme open for applications.
Business Management - This is a rotational programme and degree scheme – You’ll get a business management degree at the end of it.
On 6th December the BBC are holding a Q&A session where, through Twitter, potential applicants can ask questions and get answers from some of the BBC's apprentices and grad students. This is a great opportunity to get feedback and tips on the programmes before you apply, so be sure to get involved.
