Based on site five days a week, youll play an important part in maintaining a consistently positive workplace experience.
This is a varied role where youll build relationships across Ofgem and work closely with external service providers, becoming a trusted point of contact for the people who use and support our workplace. Youll have the scope to take ownership, solve problems and make a tangible difference to colleagues every day, while contributing to the wider success of our Estates and Workplace team.
Were looking for someone with strong customer service and organisational skills, an approachable manner and the ability to confidently manage a varied and changing workload. Youll combine clear communication and good IT capabilities with excellent attention to detail, initiative and a practical approach to resolving workplace issues. Additionally, you will need to be First Aid and Incident Control Manager trained.

Job descriptionKey responsibilities:Workplace Delivery- Conducting regular walkthroughs of the workplace to ensure issues are identified and dealt with appropriately.
- Delivering a reliable workplace with services that minimise disruption and support colleagues to work effectively.
Stakeholder & Supplier Co-Ordination- Provide colleagues and visitors with a front of house service to support them while they are in the workplace, maintaining a daily on-site presence to support queries, issues and requests as they arise.
- Building relationships with stakeholders across the organisation and delivering against agreed expectations.
Operational Support & Administration- Conduct routine operational tasks including post handling, stationery and hospitality stock management, personal storage allocation and maintenance of office registers and logs.
- Producing and issuing colleagues with building and Civil Service passes as required.
- Understanding the purchase to pay system, raising Purchase Orders and processing invoices as required.
- Provide support in the delivery of the wider Estates and Workplace Delivery function in areas such as health & safety and sustainability as required.
Information, Communications & Team Support- Maintaining accurate estates records and data, drafting clear communications for colleagues, and providing flexible support to the wider team as required.
Person specificationEssential Criteria:- Ability to work under own initiative to organise and prioritise a changing workload.
- Experience of delivering a quality customer service in an approachable manner.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- IT proficient including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- First Aid and Incident Control Manager trained (or willing to undertake training within 3 months of appointment to role).
Desirable Criteria:- Facilities Management and contract management experience.
- Health and safety experience.
