About the opportunity

Jacobs has secured multiple multi-year Contracts and Projects with leading Clients in the UK , Ireland and across the Globe. We are looking for skilled people to deliver on these fantastic opportunities in the Water Industry and beyond. We are seeking e ngineers who are looking to grow their careers in exciting new ways .

We need experienced Wastewater Engineers with a deep understanding of wastewater systems and a passion for innovatio n to join our Leeds Office. The ideal candidate will possess not only extensive practical knowledge but also a curious mind, eager to challenge conventional approaches and develop groundbreaking solutions in wastewater management , collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to rethink existing wastewater systems.

You will be assessing opportunities to maximise the potential of existing infrastructure to help deliver optimised build solutions to our client's wastewater challenges. You will also be delivering project tasks, designs and working with stakeholder on water and wastewater infrastructure and facilities at various stages in the project life cycle, working within our multi-disciplinary teams to deliver projects within agreed timeframes and budget.

Here's What You'll Need:

• A proven track record of delivering asset improvements in the Water sector.
• A chieved / Working towards Incorporated (IENG) or Chartered Status (CEng) with a recognised Professional Institution .
• Ability to leverage latest practices and apply them to legacy systems.
• A curio u s mind that challenges today to reinvent tomorrow.
• E nthusiasm to solve problems and enjoy working as part of a large multi-national company.
• W orked within multi-disciplinary teams , co-ordinat ing and support ing junior Staff.
• Excellent communications skills to effectively engage with clients from all levels of their organisation .
• a proactive and keenness to take ownership of Client relationships and contribute to the growth of our business .

Experience in one of the following areas:

• Water and/or wastewater treatment works.
• Water and/or wastewater networks.
• Hydraulics.
• Control and Automation.
