Permanent, Part Time

£34,668 per annm (fll time eqivalent)

Location: Harlow

Working Style: Commnity-based worker

This is a part-time position working 18.5 hors per week with a pro rata salary of p to £17,334 per annm.

We're looking for a passionate and engaging Vocational Trainer - Maths & Science to deliver high-qality teaching, learning and assessment that spports adlt learners to develop essential maths and science skills, gain recognised qalifications and achieve their personal, edcational and employment goals.

What yo'll be doing

Yo'll deliver engaging and inclsive learning experiences that develop learners' confidence, maths and science skills and achievement.

Working with adlt learners from a variety of backgronds, yo will:

Deliver engaging learning that spports learner achievement and progression.

Develop lesson plans, schemes of work and learning resorces that meet learner needs and programme objectives.

Prepare learners for assessment and spport them to achieve sccessfl otcomes.

Adapt learning activities to meet individal needs and remove barriers to learning.

Monitor learner progress, provide constrctive feedback and spport continos improvement.

Maintain accrate attendance, progress and achievement records sing ACL systems.

Contribte to qality improvement activities and maintain p-to-date vocational and teaching knowledge.

Deliver accredited Maths & Science qalifications, inclding Fnctional Skills where applicable.

nderstands how to spport learners with differing abilities and backgronds.

Is committed to delivering high-qality learning experiences and learner otcomes.

What yo'll bring

Essential

Relevant qalifications and/or sbstantial experience in Maths & Science.

Experience spporting learners with diverse needs.

Strong commnication and interpersonal skills.

Commitment to safegarding, eqality, diversity and inclsion.

Desirable

A recognised teaching qalification (AET, CET, DET, PGCE or eqivalent), or willingness to work towards one.

Experience delivering accredited Maths & Science qalifications, inclding Fnctional Skills.

Experience of learner assessment and progress monitoring.

Experience delivering adlt learning programmes.

Knowledge of crrent crriclm reqirements and assessment approaches.

Experience spporting learners with additional learning needs or barriers to achievement.

1-hor Micro Teach Presentation, this will be in-person where yo'll have the opportnity to showcase yor teaching approach and sbject expertise. Sccessfl candidates will then progress to a 1-hor Competency and Behavioral-Based Interview, allowing s to learn more abot yor experience, skills, and how yo align with or vales and the reqirements of the role.
