This is a part-time position working 18.5 hors per week with a pro rata salary of p to £17,334 per annm.

What yo'll be doing

Yo'll deliver engaging and inclsive learning experiences that develop learners' confidence, English skills and achievement.

Yo will:

Deliver high-qality teaching, learning and assessment within English programmes.

Deliver accredited English qalifications, inclding Fnctional Skills where applicable.

Develop lesson plans, schemes of work and learning resorces that meet learner needs, awarding body reqirements and crriclm standards.

Prepare learners for assessment and spport them to achieve sccessfl otcomes.

Adapt learning activities to meet individal learner needs and remove barriers to learning.

Maintain accrate learner attendance, progress and achievement records sing ACL systems.

Contribte to qality improvement activities and maintain p-to-date sbject knowledge and teaching practice.

We're looking for someone who:

Has experience and expertise in teaching English.

Is passionate abot developing others and helping learners achieve their goals.

Can create engaging and inclsive learning experiences for adlts from diverse backgronds.

nderstands how to adapt teaching approaches to meet a variety of learner needs.

Has excellent commnication and relationship-bilding skills.

What yo'll bring

Essential

Relevant qalifications and/or sbstantial experience in Maths & Science.

Experience spporting learners with diverse needs.

Strong commnication and interpersonal skills.

Commitment to safegarding, eqality, diversity and inclsion.

Desirable

A recognised teaching qalification (AET, CET, DET, PGCE or eqivalent), or willingness to work towards one.

Experience delivering accredited Maths & Science qalifications, inclding Fnctional Skills.

Experience of learner assessment and progress monitoring.

Experience delivering adlt learning programmes.

Knowledge of crrent crriclm reqirements and assessment approaches.

Experience spporting learners with additional learning needs or barriers to achievement.
