Term time post - 32.5 hours per week over 39 weeks
Fixed term post - end of summer term 2027
Start date: Immediate

This post is Monday to Friday 8.30am - 3.30pm

The John Frost School has a long-standing reputation for being a supportive and caring environment, achieving excellent results for our students.

We are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant who will be a committed and enthusiastic member of the literacy intervention team, who will work alongside the ALN and English departments. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting teachers to deliver high-quality teaching and learning. The role will be focussed on literacy support. The post will help every student to achieve their full academic potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide the Literacy Coordinator with oral and written feedback on students' progress and achievement
• Implement literacy programmes
• Delivering of learning activities
• Promote high expectations of behaviour and achievement
