The Role

At AMS, we're building teams that are curious, collaborative, and committed to doing great work. We're looking for a Talent Sourcer to join our PSR Sourcing Team in Belfast. If you're good at sourcing or recruiting for contractor or contingent technology and digital data roles within the public sector, and excited to grow in a supportive environment, you might be exactly who we're looking for.

This role is based in Belfast, with working from the office 1 day a week.
Key Accountabilities
What you'll do:

• Build strong partnerships with recruiters and hiring managers to deliver an exceptional candidate experience.
• Develop and execute effective sourcing strategies using market insights, talent intelligence, and industry expertise.
• Act as a trusted advisor, providing recruitment expertise, talent market insights, and strategic recommendations.
• Deliver high-quality candidate shortlists and influence hiring decisions through data-driven insights and stakeholder engagement.
• Continuously adapt recruitment strategies based on market trends, candidate feedback, and hiring needs.
• Design and implement innovative sourcing strategies to identify and engage high-calibre talent.
• Create compelling job adverts and leverage multiple sourcing channels, including LinkedIn and social media.
• Use data and market intelligence to optimise sourcing effectiveness and hiring outcomes.
• Assess candidate skills, motivations, and potential to ensure strong role alignment.
• Champion diverse talent pipelines and unbiased hiring practices.
• Deliver an outstanding candidate experience through transparent communication and career-focused conversations.
• Keep candidates engaged and informed throughout the recruitment process.
• Build long-term talent relationships and strengthen employer brand advocacy.

Skills & Requirements
Must haves:

• Previous experience in recruitment, sourcing or a related talent-focused environment.
• Strong sourcing and candidate identification skills, with the ability to use different approaches across a range of professional roles.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with candidates, hiring teams and customers.
• Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple vacancies within tight SLA requirements.
• A structured and process-driven approach, with the ability to understand and apply different sourcing processes across multiple customer accounts.
• Good technology skills and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and tools.
• Strong problem-solving and research skills, with the ability to identify appropriate talent across different job families.
• A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively within a high-volume team environment.

Nice to haves:

• Experience within public sector or contingent / CWS recruitment.
• Experience sourcing for technology, engineering or digital data roles.
