Engineering Surveyor - RAF Base, Oxford | Long-Term Contract | Inside IR35We are currently recruiting for an experienced Engineering Surveyor to join a major infrastructure project based on an RAF base in Oxford.
This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a long-term contract working on a high-profile defence project, offering consistent work and a competitive day rate.
The Role:
- Carrying out engineering and setting out surveys across a range of construction and infrastructure works.
- Producing accurate survey data and reports.
- Establishing and maintaining site control.
- Supporting project teams with as-built surveys and quality assurance.
- Operating and maintaining surveying equipment, including GPS and total stations.
- Ensuring all survey work is completed safely and to the required specifications.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as an Engineering Surveyor on civil engineering or construction projects.
- Proficient in the use of GPS, total stations, and surveying software.
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings and setting out procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
- Security clearance is advantageous but not essential (subject to project requirements).
