Job summaryThis is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual with either a professional healthcare registration or significant experience in healthcare simulation to join the UHNM Simulation Team at the County Postgraduate Centre. The successful candidate will join a dedicated team delivering high-quality simulation-based education that develops clinical capability, humas factors skills, systems thinking and a culture of safer patient care across UHNM.
Main duties of the jobThe post holder will predominantly be based at the County Hospital Postgraduate Medical Centre in Stafford, delivering simulation activities within the purpose-built Extended Reality Lab (ERL), an immersive learning environment that recreates realistic clinical settings through the projection of 360 degree video across four walls. Working under the direction of the Senior Simulation Educator, the post holder will deliver and evaluate simulation-based education for Foundation Doctors, Resident Doctors both training and non-training, Nurses, Allied Health Professionals and other multidisciplinary staff groups.
