Reporting to the People Director, the Senior Development & Talent Partner will have ownership of the MSMG learning strategy, with responsibility for continuously evolving our offerings to support every stage of the employee experience and innovate our approaches to learning. In the last 12 months our business has undergone substantial change and we will be looking for you to play a leading role in shaping and embedding a new approach to talent and performance across the group to drive improved business results. Your key delivery objectives will include cementing our learning culture, pioneering our new talent agenda, design and deliver our performance culture with the support of our learning and development specialist.

Your role places you at the head of a team of two responsible for Learning & Development for the entirety of MSMG, as well as working from scratch to establish yourself and the People & Organisation team as knowledge experts in the field of Talent Development. Therefore, it is essential that you are adept at context switching to respond to the numerous challenges posed by these competing priorities. Experience in designing and implementing talent management practices is a must-have, which should be underpinned by your intrinsically creative nature and ability to act as a compelling storyteller across all levels of the organisation to champion our new talent and performance initiatives. Our learning and development priorities are in a state of continuous shift to support our evolving organisation, so it is important that you have a growth mindset to proactively seek out new solutions, supported by rigorous analytical skills and an eye for capitalizing on innovation social learning trends. This growth mindset should also be applied to your line management of the Learning & Development Specialist.
As the senior stakeholder for learning at MSMG, you will need to be adept at the breadth and depth of the role, from hands-on training to high level stakeholder management. This also includes robust process and systems knowledge, such as experience working with an LXP and LMS, management of the Apprentice Levy, and competency in building and managing learning budgets. Your marketing mindset should be used to create engaging learning campaigns that link to core strategy and speak to our group values of creating belonging, growing and developing, and innovating to deliver. Most importantly, as our steward for learning you should bring a great network that provides thought leadership and unique learning experiences to the group.
We are moving to a new hybrid working model which will see 60% of your time spent in the office and the rest can be worked from home.
