Our Residents at Isle of Wight Pride: Confidence and Community

Residents and colleagues from 22 Argyll Street proudly took part in this year's Isle of Wight Pride, an annual parade bringing people together to champion acceptance, challenge discrimination and celebrate the uniqueness of us all. 

The chosen theme was inclusion, diversity and equality, values that are at the heart of what we do. And for 22 Argyll Street, getting involved was about more than celebrating Pride, it was a chance to express themselves, build confidence, and connect with the local community.

The Argyll Street group were incredibly proud to stand alongside people from all walks of life and promote a society where everyone is respected, valued and empowered to be their true selves.

The support and encouragement shown by members of the public along the parade route made the experience even more special, giving residents memories that will last far longer than the event. They even managed to snap a photo with the High Sheriff of the Isle of Wight, Nigel Hartley, MBE.
