Job summaryWe are seeking a motivated andpatient-focused Salaried General Practitioner to join our friendly andsupportive team, working 5 sessions per week. Specific working days can bediscussed and agreed with some flexibility.
This is an excellent opportunity to workwithin a well-established, forward-thinking rural teaching practice.
The role offers a competitive sessionalrate, inclusive of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) time, alongsideaccess to the NHS Pension Scheme and medical indemnity cover re-imbursement.
South Axholme Practice has a populationof approximately 15,000 patients, operating across five sites located inEpworth, Belton, Haxey, Owston Ferry, and West Butterwick.
Due to our multi-site structure, thesuccessful candidate must be able to travel between sites as required.
You will be working alongside a highlyskilled, multidisciplinary team consisting of 9 GP Partners, 1 Salaried GP, 3Emergency Care Practitioners (ECPs), 4 Practice Nurses, 3 Healthcare Assistants(HCAs), 3 GP Assistants (GPAs), 1 Clinical Pharmacist, 1 Pharmacy Technicianand a dedicated team of reception, administrative, and dispensary staff.
Main duties of the jobProvide high-quality patient-centered primary care
Manage a varied clinicalcaseload including routine and urgent appointments both face to face and overthe telephone
Participate in duty/triagesessions as required
Work collaboratively with thewider multidisciplinary team
Maintain accurate and timelyclinical records

Prescribing in accordance withthe Practice prescribing formulary (or generically) whenever this is clinicallyappropriate
