Salary: Unqualified:(SP 25-27) £32,753.97 - £34,306.88 per annum / full time equivalent

Qualified:(SP 29 - 37) £36,058.84 - £45,524.92 per annum / full time equivalent

Unqualified:(SP 25-27) £21,290.08 - £22,299.47 per annum / pro rata

Qualified: (SP 29 -37) £23,438.25 - £29,591.20 per annum / pro rata

Hereat South Staffordshire College, we are looking for a fractional Lecturer inUniformed Public Services and/or Criminology to join our team, teaching acrossa wide range of Level 2 & 3 NCFE programmes.

Thecourses are predominantly coursework based and therefore we seek an innovativepractitioner to design engaging assignments that inspire our learners.

Followingagreed schemes of work, assessment schedules and student monitoring proceduresare an essential component of this work.

Akey aim is to ensure that students meet and exceed their target grades.

We'relooking for someone who holds a degree or relevant professional qualificationand who has industry experience ideally within the Police, Fire, Prison, ArmedForces or Ambulance Services.

Youwill have excellent teaching skills and be able to support, motivate andempathise with young learners, including monitoring their progress.

Withhigh personal standards and expectations, you'll have an awareness of academicquality standards and have the ability to use new technologies to enhanceteaching and learning.

Ateaching qualification is not essential; however, we do ask that you arewilling to achieve one in line with current regulations.
