About The Opportunity:

Due to our expanding portfolio and continuing long-term Client relationships, we have an exciting opportunity for Public Health Engineering expertise to join our London based multi-disciplinary team. We are seeking someone who is looking to further develop their experience and responsibilities within the Building Services sector.

The team is involved in a broad range of interesting UK and International project types including research facilities, defence, rail and aviation infrastructure and passenger facilities, high tech production facilities, community decarbonisation and infrastructure renewal schemes, education, energy, water and environment.

We are seeking a strategic thinker who can coordinate the designs of Public Health Building Services projects, providing an oversight of the project performance alongside an appreciation of quality assurance and business management. You should have considerable experience working within Building Services Engineering Design within a consultancy, coupled with sound working knowledge of AutoCad & Revit MEP, drainage and fire suppression systems modelling software. There is a requirement to coordinate teams and mentor / coach more junior project members so being able to comfortably support the team whilst maintaining standards in work and efficiency is vital.

You will report to an MEP Team Lead and be responsible for both the support of your team as well as client facing work. You'll need to be able to demonstrate professionalism and an inquisitive approach, showing a desire to explore innovative ideas while still understanding the need for a good commercial balance.

UK and international travel may be required depending on projects and client requirements.

Here's What You'll Need:

  • MCIBSE or MCIPHE accreditation or working towards
  • Qualification to Degree Standard in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience and knowledge
  • Knowledge and experience of UK and International standards and regulations
  • Experience in design and specification of sustainable co-ordinated designs for potable water services, foul and surface water drainage, sanitation systems, rainwater and fire suppression systems in a variety of buildings
  • Good communication skills
  • An enquiring approach with a desire to explore innovative ideas whilst still understanding the need for a good commercial balance
  • Ability to travel for client purposes is required
