Project Procurement Manager

About the Role
Our Defence business is looking for a Project Procurement Manager to join the team. You will be the key interface between Procurement and Projects. You will be dealing with internal and external Stakeholders working on some great and exciting projects.
The successful candidate will be responsible for working with the bid and product development teams to ascertain the work package needs, competitiveness objectives and target costs. You will also be required to develop a supply chain architecture; negotiate with the supply chain, under these mandates, to obtain a complete and competitive supply chain architecture, which delivers the full requirement of the bid/product.
What we are looking for
We are looking for individuals who have procurement project management experience and are you will be passionate about developing and leading teams to deliver exceptional performance. You will also be articulate and have the confidence to present stats and data on how the team are performing against KPIs.
You will be working with internal stakeholders to ensure Acquisition or Sourcing strategies for a campaign, bid, or product or project are aligned to the needs of the business in the short, medium and long-term durations.
Work with the bid and product development teams to ascertain the work package needs, competitiveness objectives and target costs.
