As an Oral Health SpecialistAdvisor, yo will be part of a vibrant national team and will enjoy a varied,challenging remit as yo inspect and reglate primary care dental practicesacross the region to make sre they are safe, effective, responsive, caring andwell led. The inspections typically reqire on-site activity and workingwith partners and stakeholders to reach a shared jdgement on the qality ofservices being provided.

Accontabilities:

Provide timely, robst and objective specialist advice to CQC staff, eitherthrogh verbal or written commnication

Accompany CQC representatives on inspection and investigation activity toidentified provider organisations and provide relevant advice and inpt to yorspecialist area in order to spport appropriate jdgements to be made.

Observe the highest standards of impartiality, integrity and objectivity inrelation to advice and activities that are ndertaken on CQC's behalf.

Adopt an approach of openness and transparency in all bsiness activities andthe provision of advice ndertaken on CQC's behalf.

Ensre all work carried ot is within the scope of that reqired and relevantCQC policies/gidance are adhered to.

Maintain the confidentiality of information that is accessed in the corse ofwork ndertaken for CQC

Working within CQC registered locations and practises.

Engaging in indction and training, as reqired.

Essential skills and experience:

Yo will be a GDC registered dentist, with a minimm of five years' experienceof clinical practice and yo will crrently be a practicing dentist, treatingpatients on a reglar basis.

Highly-developed inflencing, analytical and commnication skills.

Highly proficient in verbal, written and digital commnication.
A track record of working sccessflly with fellow clinicians and stakeholders,within the oral health sector.

Experience of collaborating with dental professionals, in order to driveservice improvement.

In-depth knowledge of dental reglations, clinical procedres, and patientsafety standards.

Ability to provide clear, practical advice on clinical and operationalimprovements.
