Mental Health Act (MHA) monitoringactivity across yor geographical area. In the last year as a
MHA reviewer, yo might have:
Developed and delivered an individal MHA monitoring plan which details activities, timelines and priorities, involving mental health trsts and independent mental health providers. Managed a portfolio of providers, escalating risks and isses as appropriate. Carried ot weekly solo monitoring visits to mental health wards across the North East. Followed p each monitoring visit with a comprehensive report to the provider, to inclde reqired actions, and monitored provider replies and action taken. The role Yo'll be key in helping s deliver or work. In this role,yo'll:
Work closely with yor regional colleages to monitor the se of the MHA to highlight the experiences of people detained nder the MHA.Act as a MHA specialist on Inspection visits.Contribte MHA expertise to the Inspection programme to make sre they meet fndamental standards of qality and safety.Show s We'll be looking for the following skills, knowledge andexperience in yor application form:
Yo'll have experience of working in or with inpatient mental health services.Yo'll have in-depth knowledge and working nderstanding of the MHA and the Code of Practice.Yo'll have a passion and commitment to improve the experience of detained patients.ComplianceTo progress yor application, yo'll need to provide evidence of yor right towork in the K. Withot valid right to work yo won't be eligible for therole.
