• Risk management, including identification and mitigation of emerging issues.
• Preparation of credit papers, approvals and legal processes.
• Monitoring compliance with transaction agreements and governance requirements.
• Strong borrower relationships and successful project delivery.
Portfolio Management is delivery-focused, customer-centric and collaborative. We take a pragmatic approach to complex challenges, balancing commercial outcomes with public accountability while delivering meaningful housing and regeneration outcomes.
Person specificationOur team manages a portfolio of SME development finance loans and delivers excellent customer service to our borrowers; your role will be to support Portfolio Owners in achieving these objectives. You'll be comfortable managing multiple priorities, working across a range of stakeholders and continuously looking for ways to improve and innovate.
You'll be highly motivated, organised and analytical, with experience supporting commercial lending, investment or portfolio management activities. You'll have a good understanding of lending, investment and risk management principles and be keen to further develop your expertise.
You will have experience gained within banking, investment management or a related financial services environment, ideally with exposure to real estate finance. Financial analysis and modelling experience would be advantageous, alongside strong communication and report-writing skills.
