Job description

M365/CLOUD SPECIALIST

Role Overview

Pinsent Masons is a purpose-led multinational law firm that focuses on deploying a wide range of professional disciplines, enabled by people, process and technology, to deliver a global professional service with law at its core. We pride ourselves in being an innovative and \"people\" focused business and work hard to develop and sustain an inclusive and healthy culture which prioritises wellbeing where all of our people feel they belong and have the opportunity to reach their potential.

Technology is an essential enabler for our growing business and our Tech teams have been driving a Digital Transformation programme to ensure we are equipped to work efficiently to provide an optimum service to our clients.

This programme has involved several significant technical improvements including a standardised Windows desktop with a focus on Microsoft enterprise 365 and other cloud-based applications as we look to streamline our application base and transition from outdated and on premise solutions.

Our new environment means the pace and frequency of change has increased, therefore the need to monitor, analyse and continually optimise our environment has become more apparent. The Service Delivery team is continually seeking out opportunities to streamline and improve services and processes to ensure we can provide a high quality of service to support teams and the wider business.

We have therefore identified a need for a greater focus on how we manage these changes from an operational perspective and have established a new Technical Service Improvement (TSI) team to focus on key areas of service management and the requirement to move all departmental practices to a more proactive approach. This team will have dedicated technical and process driven resource to manage key areas such as Problem Management, Data Analytics, M365/Cloud Technology and Service Automation and will work together to implement release management practices, continual service improvement initiatives and cost and operational efficiencies to the business.

Integral to this new team will be our M365/Cloud Specialist who will work alongside our existing support and technical teams to provide expertise to help support, optimise, troubleshoot and investigate M365 issues and cloud-based systems.
