Job Title: International Student Welcome Airport Ambassador

Tuesday 8th September and Wednesday 9th September

Cambridge Campus and Heathrow Airport

Pay Rate:
£13.45 per hour

Overview:
We are looking for a friendly and reliable trained International student to join the International Office team in supporting our airport pick-up service for new international students arriving in the UK. This role involves travelling with staff to the airport, meeting and welcoming new students, and helping to ensure a smooth journey to campus.

Duties:

• Travel with the International Office team on Tuesday 8th September to the Premier Inn near Heathrow Airport (timings to be confirmed).
• Overnight accommodation and breakfast will be provided at the Premier Inn.
• On Wednesday 9th September, be ready at Heathrow by 7:00 AM to welcome arriving international students.
• Assist students with finding and boarding the free coach to Cambridge Campus.
• Return to campus with students on the 10:30 AM coach.
• Expected arrival back on campus is around 2:00 PM.
• You will be fully supported by members of the International Team throughout.

Additional Requirements:

• You must be available the day before (Monday 7th September) to visit the International Team for a briefing and to collect your ARU Ambassador T-shirt, which must be worn during your shift.
