We are looking to appoint an outstanding and talented Higher Level Teaching Assistant (Maternity cover) to join our successful team from November 2026. This is an opportunity to be part of an established and experienced team and to become a part of a wonderful school at the heart of the community.

Swillington pupils are justifiably proud of our school and our culture of high expectations has resulted in excellent behaviour and attitudes across the school.

We are looking for an excellent classroom practitioner who can provide a first-class education for our pupils, planning and teaching to cover for teachers' planning or leadership time. You must have a passion for teaching and learning across the range of primary subjects and the ability to communicate this to a wide range of pupils with different needs and abilities.

We are seeking to appoint a HLTA who has consistently high expectations of pupils, who has a genuine passion for teaching and learning and who will fully buy into our "Finding the talent in everyone " ethos and school values. The successful candidate will cover teacher PPA and leadership time from Nursery to Year 6 and will be committed to delivering lessons to a high standard.
