The Role

Help build the future of Early Careers at LSBU Group

LSBU Group is launching an ambitious and innovative Early Careers Programme designed to attract, develop and retain the next generation of graduates, apprentices and emerging talent across the Group.

We are looking for an experienced Early Careers recruitment professional to help design, deliver and continuously improve this exciting programme. Working closely with senior leaders, hiring managers, Learning and Organisational Development colleagues and external partners, you will be responsible for identifying opportunities, attracting exceptional candidates, managing assessment and selection processes, coordinating onboarding and supporting participants throughout their journey.

You will play a critical role in shaping our future talent pipeline across London South Bank University, South Bank Colleges and South Bank Academies. This is a rare opportunity to join a programme at the beginning of its journey and help build something with genuine long-term impact.

What You'll Be Doing

• Delivering LSBU Group's Early Careers strategy and helping shape the future direction of the programme.
• Identifying opportunities for graduates, apprentices and interns across the Group.
• Designing and delivering attraction campaigns that position LSBU Group as an employer of choice for emerging talent.
• Managing end-to-end recruitment campaigns, including sourcing, assessment and selection activity.
• Developing innovative and inclusive assessment approaches focused on potential, aptitude and future capability.
• Coordinating onboarding, induction, mentoring, buddying and cohort activities.
• Building strong relationships with senior stakeholders to understand workforce requirements and future skills needs.
• Supporting succession planning and talent pipeline development.
• Managing programme performance, reporting and continuous improvement activity.
• Helping to maximise the value of apprenticeship levy investment and future talent programmes.

What You Will Bring

Essential

Early Careers experience is an essential requirement for this role.

To be successful, you will have:

• Experience of managing Early Careers recruitment programmes, including graduate, apprentice, intern or emerging talent initiatives.
• Experience of delivering end-to-end recruitment campaigns within an in-house environment.
• Experience of talent attraction, assessment, selection, onboarding and candidate management.
• The ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders across a complex organisation.
• Experience of using innovative recruitment approaches, technology and assessment methods.
• A customer-focused mindset and a passion for creating exceptional candidate experiences.
• Strong project management, planning and organisational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A genuine passion for social mobility, talent development and creating opportunities for others.
