About the opportunities

At Jacobs, we're transforming intangible ideas into innovative solutionsdesigning the future-today with problem solving some of the big issues facing us currently such as water resources, flooding, sustainable travel and infrastructure. We're looking for dynamic and engaged people to join our team of over 70 landscape architects across multiple offices throughout the UK. Asa Graduate Landscape Architect based in our Bristol office, you will be involved with helping create solutions.Jacobs has long term contracts working on some of the UK and Ireland's largest sustainable infrastructure and development projects and we want to grow our Water and Environment team to meet the ever-increasing demand within this sector. Our team delivers projects from concept stage through to planning and construction and we are looking for enthusiastic, i nnovative and flexible staff to join this h ighly successful team.

You will join a respected and ambitious company with excellent career prospects both locally and internationally. You will work as part of a diverse and highly skilled team of landscape architects, providing support and advice to a wide range of clients and working within a multi-disciplinary team. There will also be opportunities to experience different roles within the Water and Environment team aimed at developing your career.

We also fully support our graduates on the Landscape Institute's 'Pathway to Chartership' with an experienced team of mentors to help your chartership journey and financial support. You will also have the opportunity to be on Jacob's Graduate Development Program, with bi-yearly salary reviews. We also encourage graduates to apply who are starting their second careers as landscape architects.

Here's What You'll Need:

• Already have a d egree or post graduate level qualification in Landscape Architecture
  
• An interesting portfolio of work from your university course and any work experience
  
• Comprehensive graphic ability, and experience with Au t o CAD and Photoshop and Adobe Suite
  
• A flexible self-starter who is keen to drive your career forward
  
• Adaptable to change, with a thirst for learning new things
  
• Ideally hold a driving licence to help facilitate site visits to our more remote projects
  
• You must have the right to work in the UK
