Finance Associate (2-5 yrs PQE) - London

Brief

We are currently looking to recruit a London based Associate between 2-5 yrs PQE to join our Finance team. The candidate should have experience in trade and export finance and a desire to be part of a fast growing team looking to grow its market presence, as part of an established wider Finance practice in London, nationally and internationally.

Background

We are investing in building up our expertise in trade and export finance and are looking to recruit an Associate to help to develop this team in London.

More widely, we advise a broad range of funders and borrowers on a variety of financing transactions. We act for all the UK clearing banks, a number of other European and investment banks, independent financiers and investment funds on all types of facilities from acquisition finance, leveraged finance and real estate finance to asset based lending, securitisation and debt capital markets. We also act for many borrowers, from listed companies to small enterprises, on their financings. Our practice is broad and very varied.

We have a high quality legal service finance team with access to a deep knowledge of current market practice. We deliver a truly partner led service and strongly believe in being fully joined up across our network of offices. Our talented team of lawyers has an insight and appreciation of the needs and pressures of clients in the financial services sector. We are renowned for the quality and speed of delivery of our advice, our innovative thinking and our grasp of commercial issues.

The candidate required
  • must have experience in trade and export finance in a leading City firm
  • will be technically excellent but, equally important, commercially aware and enthusiastic about business and practice development
  • will be a team player with a strong client focussed approach, commitment to the product area and excellent communication and organisational skills
