Working closely with colleagues across clinics, pharmacy operations, Healthcare leadership and Finance, you'll take ownership of key deliverables, build trusted relationships and contribute to projects and continuous improvement.
This is a hands-on opportunity for a part-qualified accountant to develop commercial finance experience and make a visible contribution within a growing healthcare business.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver accurate and timely weekly and monthly reporting for Healthcare Private Services, ensuring information is clear, relevant and useful.
Compile, analyse and communicate healthcare KPIs, highlighting trends, risks and opportunities to support performance management and leadership decisions.
Own defined month-end activities, including producing the Clinics profit and loss account, completing supporting balance sheet reconciliations and investigating variances.
Analyse healthcare stock and shrink performance, investigate variances and identify financial risks.
Work with operational teams to strengthen stock controls and reduce losses.
Identify and deliver improvements that simplify reporting, increase efficiency and make financial information easier to understand and use.
Prepare and present financial insight at meetings, translating detailed analysis into practical recommendations and actions.
Support the wider Finance function and Healthcare leadership team, contributing to projects outside your usual remit when required.

Can manage competing priorities, meet deadlines and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
Can simplify complex issues and explain them in a practical, easy-to-understand way.
Are motivated by learning, improving processes, solving problems and contributing to the wider team's success.
• What you'll need:

Practical experience in financial reporting and analysis, ideally within retail, healthcare, pharmacy or another fast-paced commercial environment.
Experience supporting business stakeholders and using financial insight to inform actions and decisions.
Confidence working with large datasets, identifying trends and translating findings into clear recommendations.
Hands-on experience of month-end processes, profit and loss reporting, balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis.
An understanding of stock, shrink and inventory reporting, or a willingness to learn, with the ability to investigate variances and support effective financial controls.
Strong Excel skills and confidence using finance systems and reporting tools.
Clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with finance and non-finance stakeholders.
A proactive, organised approach, with the ability to manage priorities, improve processes and deliver reliably in a fast-paced environment.
