Were offering two permanent roles with the chance to contribute to environmental and social schemes worth around 10 billion each year. Youll join our Strategy & Business Operations Team within the Delivery & Schemes Division, supporting work that advances decarbonisation and helps vulnerable consumers.
This is an exciting opportunity to build broad experience across a varied portfolio of nationally significant schemes while working with colleagues across Ofgem. With the potential for future deployment into other areas, youll gain valuable exposure to different aspects of operational delivery while contributing to work with a clear and meaningful purpose.

Job descriptionKey Responsibilities:- Contributing towards the administration of the environmental schemes and achievement of key performance indicators;
- Identifying continuous improvement opportunities for streamlining business procedures to ensure robust and efficient processes;
- Ability to build good relationships and credibility with a range of colleagues and external business contacts;
- Identify instances of potential fraud and non-compliance and make recommendations to management and relevant teams;
- Liaising with teams within and outside of their own direct team to understand and prioritise workload;
- Initiate and respond to communication/enquiries from external stakeholders through telephone and emails;
- Effective and confident use of Microsoft Office suite most specifically Outlook and Excel; and
- Any other reasonable tasks within the scope of the grade and role as
Person specificationEssential Criteria:- Ability to work independently, applying attention to detail when reviewing data and documentation, and using information from multiple sources to support well-informed, evidence-based decisions. (LEAD)
- Ability to organise and prioritise a shifting workload, delivering output under time pressure.

- IT skills across multiple packages/systems.
- Ability to communicate well with multiple colleagues and stakeholders across the organisation at once, coordinating their engagement with tasks and cases.
