About the jobJob summaryHelp build the National Housing BankThe National Housing Bank (NHB) is a new government-backed financial institution, operating as a subsidiary of Homes England, established to unlock investment and accelerate housing delivery across England.
Job descriptionWe're looking for a Director, Equity Portfolio Management to join the NHB Senior Leadership Team and help shape one of the UK's most significant housing finance platforms.
Salary: c. £140,000-£150,000 plus benefits, depending on skills and experience.Reporting to: Executive Director, EquityYou'll lead the team that manages the NHB's existing £1billion of commitments made to-date across funds, partnerships and joint ventures and assume responsibly for its new £3-4 billion equity capacity in to platforms that pull private capital in to housing delivery and regeneration.
You'll work with investors, developers, housing associations, and central and local government partners to unlock housing and regeneration opportunities at scale and deliver on the NHB objectives. You will work very closely with the Executive Director, Equity and the Director, Equity Transactions.
Person specificationAbout YouYou will be an experienced investment, finance or real assets professional with a strong track record in asset management, corporate finance or investment banking, ideally gained within a financial institution. You will bring deep expertise in managing equity positions in funds, partnerships and joint ventures and assessing both financial and delivery performance.
