Lincoln Accident and Emergency Department already employs an amazing team of dedicated Registered Nurses, RSCN's, Paramedics, Healthcare Support Workers, Reception staff and Housekeepers. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Nurse/Paramedic to join our team at Band 6 level.

Any successful candidate will be expected to work both days and nights over a 7-day working week to ensure consistent leadership and seniority.

Shift times are as follows:

07.45 - 20.15

19.45 - 08.15

Main duties of the job

The post holder is responsible and accountable:o The assessment of care needs and the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care without supervision.o Lead and monitor the performance and standards of care within the Nursing Team.o Take the lead on projects as appropriateo In conjunction with the Matron, Ward Manager and other senior nurses facilitate the development of the service and personal development of all nursing staff within the clinical area of responsibility

This will not constitute a formal merger of the two organisations, but will bring the Trusts together under a single Board and Executive Leadership Team, with the goal of improving the care that is provided to patients both in the community and in hospitals across Lincolnshire. Both Trusts will retain their separate statutory names and legal obligations.

The Group will be known as Lincolnshire Community and Hospitals NHS Group (LCHG).
