The Role
Location: Belfast, hybrid

Working hours/shifts: Full-time, 37.5 hours/week

As a Recruiter, you'll act as a trusted recruitment partner to hiring managers, taking ownership of vacancies and supporting the recruitment journey from initial requirement through to offer. You'll work closely with candidates, hiring managers and wider recruitment teams to deliver a great experience and successful hiring outcomes.

Key Accountabilities
What you'll do:

• Build strong, trusted relationships with hiring managers, understanding their recruitment needs and providing advice throughout the hiring process.
• Manage recruitment activity from vacancy briefing through to offer, ensuring a positive and efficient experience for candidates and stakeholders.
• Conduct detailed vacancy briefings with hiring managers, understanding role requirements, skills, timescales and the agreed selection process.
• Partner with Sourcing teams to agree the best approach to identifying and engaging suitable talent.
• Review and assess candidates against role requirements and present high-quality shortlists to hiring managers.
• Provide recruitment expertise and market insight, helping hiring managers make informed recruitment decisions.
• Manage multiple vacancies and recruitment campaigns, prioritising activity to meet agreed timescales.
• Keep candidates engaged and informed throughout the recruitment process, championing a positive candidate experience.
• Support hiring managers through interview, selection and offer stages.
• Manage the offer process, including candidate conversations and negotiations where required.
• Work collaboratively with Sourcing, Administration and wider recruitment teams to ensure a seamless recruitment journey.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines to support current and future hiring requirements.
• Ensure candidate and requisition information is accurately maintained across relevant recruitment systems.
• Identify opportunities to improve recruitment processes and ways of working.

Skills & Requirements
What we're looking for

Must haves

• Previous experience working within recruitment or talent acquisition.
• Experience managing recruitment activity through multiple stages of the hiring process.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
• Confidence partnering with hiring managers and advising them on recruitment activity.
• Experience managing multiple vacancies and competing priorities.
• A strong focus on delivering an excellent candidate experience.
• Experience working within a complex, fast-paced or regulated recruitment environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Good organisational and planning skills.
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach.
• Confidence using recruitment systems and the ability to learn new technology and processes quickly.

Nice to have

• End-to-end recruitment experience, from vacancy briefing through to offer.
• Experience working within an RPO, MSP, agency or in-house recruitment environment.
• Experience recruiting across a range of professional or specialist disciplines.
