About the O pportunity

Jacobs is seeking a visionary and strategically oriented Future Models Director to join our dynamic team in the energy sector. This leadership role is designed for a forward-thinking individual dedicated to driving disruptive commercial models and managing innovative products and technologies. The role focuses on generating significant new programs of work that align with the future of energy and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Innovate Commercial Strategies: Develop and implement groundbreaking commercial models that transform traditional business approaches in the energy sector.
  • Product and Technology Oversight: Lead the development and parenting of cutting-edge products and technologies that drive operational efficiency and market competitiveness.
  • Lead Strategic Initiatives: Spearhead strategic initiatives that leverage technology, regulatory changes, and market trends to position Jacobs as a leader in sustainable energy solutions.
  • Collaborate Across Sectors: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams across the company to ensure that innovative models and technologies are integrated seamlessly into both current and future projects.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with key stakeholders, including clients, industry leaders, and regulatory bodies, to foster partnerships that support and promote our disruptive models and technologies.
  • Drive Growth: Identify and pursue new business opportunities that align with the company's strategic objectives, ensuring a pipeline of lucrative and sustainable projects.
  • Sustainability Focus: Champion Jacobs' commitment to sustainability, ensuring that all new business models and technologies prioritize environmental consciousness and social responsibility.


Here's What You'll Need:

  • Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Energy Management, or a related field or equivalent.
  • Significant experience in strategic roles within the energy sector, with a proven track record of developing and implementing innovative business models and managing high-impact products and technologies.
  • Exceptional leadership and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Profound understanding of the global energy market and its dynamics.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and influence diverse stakeholder groups.
