Clinical Support Worker to join us in
Merton. We are looking for candidates with excellent clinical and communication skills to join our 0-19 teams contributing to the delivery of the Healthy Child Programme. You will help make a tangible difference to people's lives and enjoy the best that London has to offer on your doorstep.
CLCH welcomes applications from newly qualified and experienced Clinical Support Worker. The School Nursing service comprises of a large skill mix team, which is structured to deliver core and targeted health input through the Healthy Child Programme to all school aged children and their families.
Car drivers are desirable but not essential.

Main duties of the job - Providing clinical support to the school health team, by undertaking duties as delegated by the Team Lead/School Nurse, in support of the delivery of commissioned school health service.
- Contributing and participating in the delivery of the health promotion programme and National childhood Measurement Programme (NCMP) for the school health service in line with the Healthy Child Programme and local service specifications.
- Contributing to the delivery of Working Together to Safeguard Children (2018), including improving health and life chances for children and families and safeguarding those at risk.
- To deliver the role in accordance with CLCH Trust values and behaviours.

Person Specification Qualifications Essential - GCSEs Grade A-C in Maths and English or equivalent
- NVQ Level 3 in Child Care or NVQ Level 3 Care Certificate or equivalent experience or Registered Nursing Associate on the NMC Register
- Educated to a minimum level 5 Foundation degree level specific to nursing associate practice
Desirable - Council for Awards in Care, Health and Education Qualification
- Willingness to undertake Apprentice Nursing Associate
Experience Essential - Competent in the use of Microsoft Office (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook ) with experience of inputting to databases, spreadsheets and/or other IT systems and business applications used in the office environment
- Experience of working in a public facing role
- Previous experience of working within a health/school/care setting in the field of area applied for
- Experience of working in a customer service role
- Relevant experience of working self-directed or as part of a team.
- Evidence of continuing professional development
