- Hours: 31.25 + 1-hour CPD per week, Monday to Friday
- Contract: Maternity / Paternity*. Required from 9 November 2026

The Broads Cognitive Learning Unit at Barnby and North Cove Primary School require an experienced, dedicated, and friendly
Class Teacher who can work effectively to support pupils with additional needs in our cognitive learning unit. Experience of special educational needs, emotional behavioural difficulties, and disability are essential. Your role is to facilitate access to learning for SEND pupils in the class. This is a challenging role but incredibly rewarding as part of a team which works together to make a real difference to the lives of our children with SEND needs.
We are looking for a Class Teacher who:- can follow plans and work on their own initiative
- has experience of working with all ages of children in school
- can support a range of abilities including pupils with SEND
- can communicate clearly with children and adults, both verbally and in writing
- can contribute to assessments
- has a willingness to contribute to the general smooth running of our school
- can adhere to policies and procedures and follow GDPR guidelines
- can maintain confidentiality
- has a desire to participate in school and trust CPD opportunities
- has an awareness of Safeguarding.

Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (Degree 2:1+ preferred).
