General Assistant (Organisational Business Support Directorate)
Salary: Grade 2 - £25,614 - £26,016 (Pro Rata)
Hours: 27.50hrs per week Monday-Friday
Contract: Permeant
Location: GMFRS, Leigh Technical Service Centre, St Helens Road, Leigh WN7 3PA

Your role
An exciting opportunity has arisen within Organisational Business Support for a General Assistant within our kitchen at our Leigh Technical Service Centre.
You will provide high quality, customer focused, flexible and timely support to the catering function providing catering support in the preparation of food and ensuring that all areas are cleaned and maintained to a high standard.
About you
The successful candidate must have strong customer and interpersonal skills, be highly motivated with the ability to deal with a demanding workload. You will be an experienced general catering assistant with the ability to multi-task, prioritise workloads and work flexible as part of an effective team. You must have a Level 2 Food Hygiene and Safety in Catering certificate.
