Breakfast Club Assistant

Location: Southsea Infant School

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:45 AM - 8:45 AM (5 hours per week)

Contract: Temporary- Maternity Leave. Term time only

Pay Scale: PCC Band 3, Point 4

Are you a warm, reliable, and early-rising individual who enjoys working with young children? We are looking for an enthusiastic Breakfast Club Assistant to join our friendly team and help our pupils get off to a great start every morning.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing and serving a simple, healthy breakfast to our children.
• Supervising pupils safely during breakfast and play activities.
• Creating a welcoming, positive, and inclusive morning environment.
• Ensuring a smooth transition to the start of the school day.

About You

• Enthusiastic, approachable, and patient with young children (ages 4-7).
• Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working as part of a small team.
• An understanding of food hygiene and child safety.
