About the opportunity:

Jacobs Defence and Security provide design and engineering services for our nuclear and defence clients across the UK and abroad. Our team is experiencing exciting growth and long-term prospects within our established practice and we are looking for people with transferable skills who are passionate about developing themselves and in meeting new challenges.

We offer hybrid working with 2-3 days in the office, we also have a UK network of offices and can accommodate no matter where you are based with a mix of hybrid working. We have excellent IT support. Occasional site visits may be necessary.

The Non-Nuclear Engineering Partner (NNEP) framework is a partnership between AWE and Jacobs tasked with delivering a major contribution to the overall AWE improvement plan. The NNEP framework is a strategic enabler for maintaining the UK's current and future Continuous At-Sea Deterrent (CASD) capability. The NNEP Engineering function provides full life cycle engineering solutions across a portfolio of asset investment programmes and new capability projects.

• Produce 3D CAD information in a BIM environment on a restricted network

Here's What You'll Need:

• Relevant qualification minimum, HND or equivalent.
• Fluent in Revit and Autocad.
• Capable across disciplines, primarily Architecture but willingness to contribute to M&E Building Services.
• Familiar with BIM, use of Common Data Environments and QA systems.
• All staff are required to be sole UK Nationals and able and willing to obtain SC level security clearance, and therefore must have been resident in the UK for the preceding 5 years.
