Detailed job description and main responsibilities Training and development will be provided to support successful candidates in achieving competence in these areas.
IMT clinics currently operate between the hours of 8 am to 6pm over 5 days per week and the working pattern for the successful candidate would only be Monday to Friday at present, however with any further development of clinics for non housebound patients this may be expanded in the future. This post requires the successful candidates to be able to travel between sites so a full driving license and car is preferable however not essential.
Person specificationProfessional Qualifications Essential criteria - Registered Nurse Level 1 (Adult)
- Mentor and assessor qualification or equivalent
Desirable criteria - Evidence of continued professional development relevant to role
Experience Essential criteria - Experience of working in a multi-disciplinary team setting
Skills/Knowledge Essential criteria - Ability to demonstrate sound knowledge and application of up to date evidence based clinical practice.
- Excellent communication Analytical skills and a problem solving approach
- IT literate
- Awareness of the complex needs of a multicultural, socially diverse population.
- Effective time management
Personal Qualities Essential criteria - Ability to work under pressure. Effective team member with leadership qualities
Other Job Requirements Essential criteria - independently mobile through the organisation. experience in management of complex patients
