About the Opportunity

We are looking for a very experienced hydrologist to join our welcoming and multi-disciplinary team based in our Winnersh (Reading), Bristol or Exeter office. You will lead the delivery of hydrological contributions to a wide variety of projects for the Environment Agency, Lead Local Flood Authorities, water companies and other public and private clients.

As a valuable member of our Water Catchment Management team you will be involved in advising our clients on delivering flood risk management, sustainable drainage and civil engineering solutions. You will work on varied projects from studies to improve the river environment to the design of reservoirs.

Here's What You'll Need:

  • Chartered with ICE, CIWEM or equivalent, or close to chartered status
  • Demonstrable understanding of general hydrological techniques, the Flood Estimation Handbook and knowledge of recent updates and active fields of research
  • Experience of low flow hydrological analysis
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide technical leadership in the field of hydrology within multi-disciplinary teams
