About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and inspirational Tutor of History to join our experienced and successful Humanities team, to share in the delivery of A level History to the Edexcel History specification. This will be mainly focused on delivery of Modern History, but the ability to offer other historical periods is also desirable.

A high standard of knowledge of relevant historical topics and enthusiasm for the subject are required. The successful candidate should have or be willing to acquire up-to-date knowledge of a range of teaching and learning techniques and engage fully with students. The successful candidate will work collaboratively, but also independently, have good interpersonal skills, and be able to manage a range of assessment formats. Good IT skills and the ability to work with a wide range of different College systems would be a benefit, as would a willingness to produce and adapt teaching resources.
