This is an exciting opportunity for a new AIU Case Manager to own and manage a high volume of PIP1 crime, maintaining oversight of the investigation and tasking relevant teams to ensure a high quality, victim centred investigation that maximises outcome opportunities.
In doing so, you will improve the quality of service provided to victims, identify vulnerability, threat, harm and risk that would otherwise have been missed and maximise opportunities to solve crime and prevent future crime.
It is essential that candidates have completed Investigation Skills ISS and PSI Courses.
Capability to travel across the Force is required in order to undertake assignments in a timely manner and work flexibly. Due to unsocial hours and personal safety for lone working public transport may not be suitable. For this reason, a full driving licence is considered essential for this role.
If you are a TVP employee and have you been in your current post for less than 12 months, you need to seek approval from your line manager to be eligible to apply for this role.
As part of the Thames Valley Police family, you will enjoy a fantastic range of benefits including 24 days annual leave per annum, pro-rata for part time (plus Bank Holidays), flexible working conditions, a wide range of lifestyle discounts, career development opportunities and have the option to join a local government pension scheme. For more information on our benefits, please visit the supporting you page, via the link at the bottom of the advert.
If you have any queries, please contact the Recruitment Team at quoting reference 4786. We will endeavour to respond to your query as quickly as possible.
Please use Google Chrome when completing your application, wherever possible, as this will enhance performance.
The closing date for enquiries and receipt of completed applications is Sunday 27th September 2026.
