Overview

As an Accounts Assistant at Waters, you will be part of the team responsible for the accuracy of costs through invoice postings and payments, and monthly account reconciliations.

This is a 9 month fixed-term contract based out of our pioneering R&D facility in Wilmslow.

Responsibilities

As an Accounts Assistant, you your responsibilities will be:

• Verification & processing of vendor invoices
• Vendor queries
• Vendor statement reconciliations
• Maintenance of Vendor master accounts
• Weekly blocked invoice reporting & follow up actions
• Vendor payments
• Verification of electronic attachments for SOX & VAT compliance
• Bank reconciliations
• Cash allocation
• Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Weekly cash reporting
• Monthly GRNI review & follow up
• Maintain the effectiveness of the Quality system at the sites via adherence to applicable policies and procedures
• Complete Quality System related actions in a timely manner according to procedures e.g. CAPA, NCR
• Adhere to Environmental, Health and Safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

We'd love to hear from you if you have the following experience:

• Educated to at least GCSE or equivalent level
• Proven effective Accounts Assistant experience
• SAP & Excel skills beneficial
• Ariba skill beneficial but not mandatory
• One European language skill is beneficial but not mandatory
