Young Defence Network at Army’s Civilian Workforce

Chief of Defence People (CDP) has become the Champion of the new Young Defence Network. This is a Whole Force network set up to support younger people in Defence, and for people who are starting out their careers in Defence.

The network will focus on:
Promoting a common network to support younger members of staff in Defence or those starting out their careers in Defence

Ensuring staff are provided opportunities to develop, and have the means to share knowledge to help build an inclusive culture and encourage diversity of thought

Supporting wider organisational goals including promoting diversity, and recruiting and retaining a new generation of MOD professionals

Providing feedback from our members to be considered when larger policy decisions are made to retain staff and inspire a confident younger generation.
