From PhD to Policy: How a Physiology PhD Built a STEM Career in the Civil Service

Having finished a PhD in physiology in 2018, I knew I wanted a career in research rather than academia. That direction led me to the Civil Service, where I applied for a physiology research role, and seven years later, it’s a decision I would make again in a heartbeat.
