Home & Flexible Working at West Yorkshire Combined Authority

The majority of employees are able to access the flexi-time scheme that enables colleagues to manage and monitor their own working time based on their working diaries.  This enables colleagues to manage their work/life balance accordingly.

The Combined Authority is developing an Agile Working Policy to build on the new working practices that have been adopted since March 2020.  This will enable colleagues to work from the place that best suits them and their workload on a day to day basis.  We believe this will help staff maintain their work life balance whilst getting a good mix of home working, working in the office with colleagues and working in another location that is the most suitable for that day/task.

We offer all full time roles as job share, and consider part time requests for full time roles.  We will endeavour to accommodate all requests where we can.

All colleagues can make a formal flexible working request to put in place a set working pattern that suits the individual and the service.
