Health & Wellbeing at TransPennine Express

TPE are dedicated to providing proactive and preventative wellbeing initiatives to embrace all colleagues’ health & wellbeing.

TPE’s Health & Wellbeing programme is led by the Occupational Health & Wellbeing Manager, a registered nurse with the NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council), a postgraduate specialist in community public health and Occupational Health (OH), is part 3 registered with the NMC and with several years of OH experience.

The programme is underpinned by the 6 Pillars of Health, which will enable us to incorporate a holistic approach to health & wellbeing, establishing leadership, prevention and early intervention. To have a healthy TPE we need to look at many aspects of our work and home life which may impact on our overall health.

6 Pillars of Health & Wellbeing is not just about absence or disease, but a holistic approach that relates to emotional, psychological, social and spiritual wellness. Wellbeing is influenced by our everyday life.
