Employee Resources and Engagement at Travelport

Our programs and initiatives that take place throughout the year, both regionally and globally, follow various formats to focus on six programmatic themes: Disabilities, Ethnicity, Gender, LGBTQ+, Mental Health and Neurodiversity . Many of our global programs are presented virtually and recorded so that all employees across time zones and working environments may participate.

To create a truly inclusive workplace we must all be open to growing our own self-awareness and willing to consider how we view others and how others see us. As part of our ‘Count Me In’ initiatives in 2021, we’re hosting a DEI speaker series on bias to help employees consider the part they can play in creating a more level playing field for everyone at Travelport. The sessions are open to all Travelport employees and accommodate multiple time zones.

Additionally, all employees are invited to participate in our DE&I programs by volunteering their time and interest to share their opinions and dedicate personal skills and resources. Employees may join the internal Global Diversity Council through an annual self-nomination process or our DEI Ambassadors group which accepts volunteers on an on-going basis. The purpose of these two employee-led groups is to prevent opportunities for bias and ensure diverse employee backgrounds, experiences and ideas are represented as Travelport continues evolving DE&I programs. Travelport currently has nearly 100 DEI Ambassadors based in 24 different countries around the world. Read more about these programs here
