DXC Dandelion Programme

An award-winning programme connecting neurodivergent individuals with meaningful employment and helping workplaces fill IT skills gaps.

In 2014, a growing focus on workplace diversity and inclusion led DXC to discover there was limited evidence-based information on employing neurodivergent individuals.

Recognizing the untapped potential during a time of significant technology skills gaps, we embarked on a mission to create a supportive pathway to employment.

The DXC Dandelion Program extends beyond mere job placement; we believe in equipping neurodivergent individuals with the necessary tools, support, training, and hands-on work experience to not only secure employment, but also to cultivate sustainable, fulfilling careers in IT.

Small acts can have big impacts.

About the programme

The DXC Dandelion Programme provides an environment that supports and celebrates the talents and skills of neurodiverse people — such as those with Autism, ADHD or Dyslexia — and helps them build valuable skills to pursue a career in information technology.

The vision DXC Dandelion has is creating a sustainable programme that will increase the workforce participation rate of neurodiverse people, enhancing their technical and life skills to enable the development of their IT careers.

Using recent evidence-based research, along with our experiences and learnings, we have designed a long-term development programme that creates the right environment for growth with the right support structure.
